Postmasters Restaurant Information

A visit to the Postmasters Residence will transport you back to the time of elegant tearooms with established cottage gardens abundant with colourful scented flowers.

The Postmasters Residence has a coulourful history, being destroyed by fire in 1906, rebuilt in 1907 and then gradually building a reputation to this present day of being one of Arrowtowns' most famous eateries, recently restored by Adele and Graeme Begley making it the cherished local icon it is today.

The Restaurant is the ideal location for that special occasion for decadent evening dining with the menu offering a delicious collection of local and natural produce that is guaranteed to satisfy. We are able to cater for any dietary requirements with an extensive selection of gluten free options. Families with children are also most welcome at the Postmasters Residence.

The Postmasters Residence cafe in Arrowtown is a great spot to sit in the afternoon sun. Popped in here after browsing around the little boutiques - quick service, varied menu (the venison pie was amazing). Definitely recommended!
