I like Angelina Jolie. I do. And I really wanted to like this film, and I did to a certain extent. There was a lot of action, some (predictable) twists and double crosses and a general feeling that something big was going to happen. The only problem is that that moment never came. The film sprinted to the finish line with a few clumsy flashback scenes chucked in to try to make us care about the characters and then there was the odd ending with the obvious intention of launching a franchise. All roar no bite.

Salt is a movie well worth seeing if you haven't got around to it yet. Plenty of action (I hear that Jolie did a heap of her own stunts) and although the story line is a little far-fetched, Salt is still an easy watch.

Quite a good movie, good cast, lots of action, a little bit predictable in parts but all in all worth the outlay
