I saw Predators because my partner wanted to and goodness knows he's indulged me in my movie preferences enough times. Sci-fi action is not really my thing, and but for the one twist (there is just one) this movie was pretty much what I expected, but a whole lot slower. Sure, the aliens looked cool, but that's about the only thing worth mentioning. Still, my partner feels good about getting to choose the movie for once, so some good came out of me seeing it.

My hubby was dead keen to see Predators so we went last night - in my opinion nowhere near as good as Predator but then again, that concept was pretty original at that time.
Nevertheless, we both enjoyed it - and I actually did enjoy Adrien Brody's role - thought it was good to see him in an action role rather than some soppy drama
