American Pie has a piece of my heart, I was approximately in the same year of school as they were in the first edition and found the challenge of getting that first hilarious. It was so well done from Jim and Nadia to the never ending craziness of Stifler. American Pie in my opinion was the first of what became many movies of this genre and they are kings.

Unfortunately there are 5 more which didn't cut the mustard with number 2 and the wedding being OK.

So I went the American Pie Reunion and was sceptical at best. It was great that they had managed to get all the cast back including the smaller parts like Jessica who was famous for her "double click the mouse" lesson. Without these secondary characters like "the milf" boys the film would of been a disaster.

The comedy is endless I loved it, there was something more grown up in all the actors, Kevin is now a housewife and Jim is having different sex problems to the first now and they as actors and characters have grown in personality and appearance. Oh except Stifler!

If your a fan of the first you should go and watch this definitely it will give you lots of cheap laughs if you don't like the first you wont like this one either and if you haven't seen the others I would say at least watch the original before going to see this one.

There is even a great twist at the end you just don't see coming.

A well deserved 4 star, would of given 4.5 if I could.

I can't remember much of the original American Pie movies but this one felt like a bunch of old guys trying to be young again, it just didnt work. Maybe they waited too long to make this?
